Performance Manager's Report

Evita
Evita was a huge success not only playing to two sell-out shows, making a profit but most importantly recruiting new members to reinvigorate the choir.

Disney
Many of the singers who joined for Evita are singing in the Disney concert and we hope to have approximately 55 people singing this. Disney also welcomes back previous members who were unable to commit to Evita plus many new members. We welcome Paolo as our MD.

Tickets are on sale through the website and we have three shows. Two in the evening and one matinee. The matinee will be targeted to families with a costume parade at interval and a sing along for a couple of songs.

Please tell your family and friends about this fun concert. The dates are Friday 6 and Sat 7 October.

Odes to Joy
The final concert of the year is with the Darwin Symphony Orchestra. They have asked us to sing Beethoven’s Ode to Joy as part of their Odes to Joy concert at the Darwin Entertainment Centre - November 24th.

Police Remembrance Service
Police Remembrance is also nearly upon us and Nora will be rehearsing the songs for this with anyone who might be available to sing on Friday 29th September at 9.30am. More details will be sent shortly regarding this gig.

Evita Showing
A reminder that we are showing Saturday’s recording of Evita on Saturday 26th August I the Indonesian Garden ( outside the performance room) from 6.00pm.

Bring along friends and family plus chairs, food, drinks, bug spray and enjoy the slide show of many rehearsal and backstage photos plus the recording of Evita.
